At PolyPlay Therapy Hub, we are committed to providing high-quality, child-centred therapeutic support that is both accessible and sustainable for families.
We welcome privately funded families as well as children supported through the NDIS (self-managed and plan-managed participants). Our services are aligned with relevant NDIS goal categories, and we collaborate closely with families and other professionals involved in your child’s care to support meaningful therapeutic progress.
Play Therapy is recognised as an approved therapeutic intervention under the NDIS. Families who are self-managed or plan-managed may use their funding to access our services.
At present, Play Therapy is not claimable through Medicare, Private Health Insurance, or a Mental Health Care Plan.
In addition to individual therapy, we have thoughtfully designed small-group Social Skills Programs during the school terms and school holiday periods to support privately funded families. These include:
Minecraft Social Skill Group
LEGO Social Skill Group
School holiday Social Skill Group
These therapist-led programs focus on developing emotional regulation, flexible thinking, teamwork, and social confidence within a structured and supportive environment. Group sizes are intentionally small to ensure therapeutic quality and meaningful engagement.
If you are unsure about funding pathways or suitability for group programs, we are happy to guide you through your options.
At PolyPlay Therapy Hub, we understand that family life can be unpredictable. We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an individual appointment.
Where possible, we will offer an alternative session within the same week to maintain continuity of care. If a session cannot be rescheduled, or sufficient notice is not provided, the full session fee may apply.
For group programs, enrolment secures your child’s place within a limited-capacity therapeutic setting. As such, missed sessions are not refundable or transferable.
This policy ensures that the therapist’s preparation time is respected and allows us to offer available appointments to families who may be waiting for support.
We appreciate your understanding and partnership in helping us maintain a consistent, safe, and supportive therapeutic environment for all children.
